Friend appointed Dolphins head coach

DURBAN – Quinton Friend has been appointed as the new Dolphins head coach after serving as Imraan Khan’s assistant for the past five years.
Friend takes over the reins from Khan, who was the most successful coach at the Dolphins in recent years.
He’s familiar with the Dolphins as he’s been a player and a bowling coach for the franchise.
Friend will keep the same technical staff that Khan had, with Mduduzi Mbatha as his assistant and Devon Von Onselen as the strength and conditioning coach.
The Dolphins will begin their CSA T20 Challenge season on the 29th of September with an away clash against the Dafabet Warriors.
